Description
Inspired by Leon James, one of the main swing dancers of the Whitey’s Lindy Hopper and the Shorty Snowden Trio. His whole life was devoted to promoting jazz dances to new generations.
James is also remembered as member of the iconic duo “The Jazz Dancers” alongside lindy hop and jazz dance legend Al Minns: the duo appeared in the Marx Brothers film A Day at the Races, and on several US TV shows during 1950s and 1960s.
Foot measurements directions:
Foot length is more accurately measured when standing directly on a ruler or measuring tape.
Make sure you measure from the furthest back/central part of the heel to the end of the longest toe.
Foot width shall be measured by wrapping a measuring tape around the widest part of your foot, usually where your bunion joint is. Ensure you have your full weight on the foot for accuracy.
You may want to repeat the whole measuring process a few times to confirm your measuring results.
